The checkcu.exe file is an executable application process implemented into the system by version 2005 of the Tildes Birojs software, which is a suite of Windows programs classified as language integration tools developed with a set of features for deploying Latvian language text input and alternative user input support into the system, various installed built-in and third party Windows applications. The checkcu.exe process is specifically implemented as the executable program dispatcher file of the Tildes Birojs Startup Test application, which is a small program built into the Tildes Birojs software, and this application is used for testing the framework components of the Windows-based system and its integration with the Tildes Birojs suite of Latvian language implementation tools. The checkcu.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Tildes Birojs suite of applications.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. checkcu.exe. is used by Tildes Birojs and Tildes Birojs Startup Test Application, If you shut down checkcu.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop checkcu.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Tildes Birojs and Tildes Birojs Startup Test Application, from your system.
