What is  center.exe

The center.exe file is a Windows process called ASUS Control Center Application, and a part of the program ASUS WLAN Card Utilities and Driver, also known as Wireless LAN Card Utilities, or ASUS WL-520g and WL-500G-X, which is produced by ASUSTeK Computer, Inc. This component is associated with ASUS Wireless Local Area Network or WLAN, or LAN, hardware. It means when this software is downloaded onto the computer, the process center.exe is also installed, stored on a folder location C:\Program Files, and runs in the background, usually during Windows startup, or manually when launched by the user. Once executed, this particular file is able to add additional diagnostics in regards to this range of communication applications installed on the computer system. As an integral part of the ASUS Wireless LAN Card Utilities, the center.exe file is recommended to remain stored and running in the background of the Windows computer, and be terminated if it is causing major problems that affect the performance of the system.
