The cdcheck.exe process is an EXE program resource of the Internet Explorer Web browser. Specifically, the cdcheck.exe process has been reported to be part of the executable application components of Internet Explorer 7. This means the cdcheck.exe process works with other executable program files, certain application-specific modular Dynamic Link Library (DLL) files, some system DLL modules, particular background and system process items and various components that are used by version 7 of the Internet Explorer Web browser to perform its operations and functions as requested by the user. The cdcheck.exe process is implemented into the Windows-based system upon the installation and configuration of Internet Explorer 7, which also means the cdcheck.exe file is bundled with the installer distribution packages of Internet Explorer 7.
