The executable process file cdantsrv.exe (version 3.25.010) belongs to the software C-Dilla License Management, CD-Secure, C-DillaSrv, or CD-Compress Windows NT as developed by the Company C-Dilla and Macrovision. Macrovision has a specialty in management of digital rights, solving software licensing and content protection. The process file is also regarded as C-Dilla RTS Service and is a background process that is known to be as an autodesk License server. The process file is found to be running in the Task Manager as the process cdantsrv.exe in which it could vary in different Windows language and version found further in the folder C:\Windows\System 32\drivers or sometimes in subfolder C:\Windows. Upon execution, an inquiry is forwarded to C-Dilla License Management Software in order to confirm is a license file is a genuine one. On Windows 7/XP, the process file has a file size of 32,256 bytes (66% of all occurrences), 18,432 bytes, 46,080 bytes, 19,456 bytes or 32,768 bytes. The process file is not visible, not a Windows core file, not CPU intensive and is not needed to execute at startup.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cdantsrv.exe. is used by C-Dilla RTS Service, If you shut down cdantsrv.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cdantsrv.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is C-Dilla RTS Service, from your system.
