The background process ccenter.exe is part of an antivirus program. The program is Rising Antivirus, and it is developed by Beijing Rising International Software. This antivirus software is designed to perform regular and thorough scans throughout the computer system in order to check the presence of hazardous malware, spyware, Trojan horses, viruses and worms. These scans detect any of these foreign objects and delete them. It also tracks the sources and updates its item logs. Beyond scanning, Rising Antivirus provides further protection by checking the websites that the user visits or files that the user downloads. Rising Antivirus is constantly developed, and its database is updated for newer virus and malware modifications so it can prevent any further infiltration. The program is available in both the English and Chinese language, and presents a globally amiable interface to offer its users ease and control.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. ccenter.exe. is used by Rising Antivirus, If you shut down ccenter.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop ccenter.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Rising Antivirus, from your system.
