Known as Calc, the calc.dll file is a component of 1C:Enterprise 8.2, a type of business software developed by 1C Company. This process is responsible in executing different modules with their own assigned and encoded tasks, which generally designed for automation of various enterprise or company activities, which include business accounting, management accounting, and HR management. As a DLL component, the calc.dll file serves a major role in allowing other processes to launch in the background and enable their functions. Therefore, this file is necessary to continue running, or else those other dependent computer modules are affected, and will not do their specified tasks within the functionality of the program 1C:Enterprise 8.2. It is also possible that the program becomes useless if this particular file is missing. That said, calc.dll is a very important file that remains stored, hidden and working on the Windows computer.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. calc.dll. is used by 1C:Enterprise 8.2, If you shut down calc.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop calc.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is 1C:Enterprise 8.2, from your system.
