Known by the name Broadcom Management Agent, the brcmmgmtagent.exe file is one essential component of Broadcom NetXtreme, a program created by Broadcom Corporation, and also digitally signed by the same company (VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2). Broadcom NetXtreme is a type of software used as a Windows service that provides process support for most Bluetooth devices made by Broadcom. Since called as the Broadcom Management Agent, brcmmgmtagent.exe is the file that enables control and management tasks, and must be kept on the computer system if the user does not only maintain those specific functions, but also micro manages the NIC card. The program that houses the file is used for desktop computers, notebooks, workstations, and servers, mostly for businesses. Most products manufactured by Broadcom are associated with Network Adapter, which implies that a user can also manage wireless connections. When Broadcom NetXtreme is downloaded, the file brcmmgmtagent.exe is also installed, and stored mostly in folder C:\Program Files.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. brcmmgmtagent.exe. is used by Broadcom NetXtreme, If you shut down brcmmgmtagent.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
