This DLL file is a BHO or browser helper object that automatically runs when you start the Internet browser. It can monitor activities on the Internet browser. Alchol 120% is a DVD and CD burning software for 32-bit and 64-bit Windows systems. It allows you to make backups of CDs and DVDs. You can store your CDs as images on the computer. It allows you to mount up to a maximum of 31 virtual drives in one click. You can burn files directly from hard drive using its pre-mastering function.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. basesr.dll. is used by Alcohol 120%, If you shut down basesr.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop basesr.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Alcohol 120%, from your system.
