The atmpvcn.dll file is a malware installed by Trojan viruses that carry multiple malware packages. It has aliases such as Trojan-Dropper.Win32.Agent.zzr and PE_Patch.UPX. It usually infects the computer’s security system through multimedia downloads, file sharing, spam E-mails, chats, updates of video codecs and corrupted adult Websites. It may collect your personal data. Threats may be indicated by missing wallpaper on your desktop, processes that are unusually running on your task manager and hijacked search page, error page or start page of your browser. The atmpvcn.dll Trojan can infect CLUSAP.DLL files, BAT.DLL, 09402259.SVD and files, and may alter system files to prevent the legitimate security tools from receiving updates of the existing infections. It may let you experience annoying pop ups, unusual computer beep sounds, modified desktop settings such as shortcuts and system tray icons, slow performance for your browsing and general system activities and “blue screen of death” due to corrupted Windows files, registry keys and other DLL’s.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. atmpvcn.dll. is used by Atmpvcn, If you shut down atmpvcn.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop atmpvcn.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Atmpvcn, from your system.
