Apache HTTP Server Monitor is the service name of the file apachemonitor.exe, and a component of the program Apache HTTP Server, which is developed by Apache Software Foundation. Apache HTTP Server is basically an Apache Web Server package, which is a web server application that is associated with the connectivity to the Internet. If a user needs to surf the Internet, this software becomes a very vital product to use, and it must not be disconnected, unless it is intentionally stopped. As a part of this web server software, Apache HTTP Server Monitor or apachemonitor.exe has a vital role or specific function within Apache HTTP Server, and it is recommended to keep it active and enabled on the computer system, especially that it has a digital signature (Zend Technologies Ltd. - VeriSign Time Stamping Services Signer - G2). Terminating or stopping this file can cause the Apache HTTP Server Monitor or Apache HTTP Server to not function, which is going to disable or shut down the software.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. apachemonitor.exe. is used by Apache HTTP Server, If you shut down apachemonitor.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop apachemonitor.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Apache HTTP Server, from your system.

Some poorly written applications have many processes that run that may not be required and take up valuable processing power within your computer.
