The aoltray.exe process is an executable program component of the AOL client software, which is a Windows program classified as an ISP (Internet Service Provider) management program distributed to AOL subscribers and users of AOL services and applications. The aoltray.exe process is integrated into the system upon the installation of the AOL client program and assists this software in implementing its embedded user access functionalities into the Windows System Tray. This means the aoltray.exe process is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher file of the AOL Tray application, which is a small program built into the AOL client software for integrating an icon with menu items in the Windows System Tray that can provide users with quick and convenient access to the connection management and control panel features of the AOL client software.
