The executable file alltotray.exe known as Minimize To Tray is a part of software All To Tray by DNTSoft. It is a software allowing users to minimize any window to the system tray, removing the application taskbar button. The “Minimize To Tray” option is added to the System menu of the window. If checked on this option, the tool will minimize the window to the system tray once the user minimizes it. The user minimizes the window as through a keyboard or mouse. To restore it, user clicks on the window’s icon from the system ray. Three possibilities to temporarily minimize to Tray is to first right click on the minimize/maximize/close button of the window, second is to press and hold down the shift/control key when maximizing, and third to use the hotkey. New features of Minimize To Tray include recovering all icons from tray when Explorer crashes, supporting multiple users, using hotkeys restore/close all windows from the system tray, and supporting Afx windows.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. alltotray.exe. is used by Minimize To Tray, If you shut down alltotray.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop alltotray.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Minimize To Tray, from your system.
