File algchk.exe is an executable file called Microsoft Application Check. It is a product property of Microsoft Windows version 2000 Operating System developed and manufactured by Microsoft. The file algchk.exe is not a Windows core file but is considered a compressed file. Compressed files are very handy especially to avid website users who download and upload large amounts of data on and off the internet. They can be called ZIP files, a compression system that allows users to lower the usage of space on a computer’s hard disk drive especially when internet connection is running slow.
