The file adusermon.exe is an executable file incorporated by the Active Disk Application of Iomega company. Iomega Active Disk is an easy to use, secure, and compact devices. The file is used to launch the main window for the Iomege Active Disk application by allowing the user to straightly run the software directly from an Iomega Zip disk upon insertion of the disk to the disk drive. After that, the user can simply eject the device and then, all of the work done will be saved to a secure Iomega device when the user has finished with the Iomega Active Disk program. The user can also initialize his or her own process because it should be started up first in order for the file adusermon.exe to launch the main window of the Iomega Active Disk application. This application will help the user in keeping a mobile and organize lifestyle, wherein the user can access a wide selection of Active Disk Powered titles.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. adusermon.exe. is used by Iomega Active Disk Application, If you shut down adusermon.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop adusermon.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Iomega Active Disk Application, from your system.
