This process is associated with Aluria Active Defence Shield software. It is an anti-spyware and desktop security software. This software stops the spywares from being installed in the vital directories of the operating system. It works along with the operating system to curtail the spyware from installing. It does not allow installation and removal, rather, stops in the beginning itself. It is a combination of anti-spyware, anti-virus, and firewall utility. It installs a kernel hook. This hook sits in the core of the operating system, thereby, controlling any installation that happens in the system. Since every activity waits for the response from the system driver, the software can detect the suspicious activity and stop it from installation. This software works irrespective of the entry point of the spyware. It can work on the spywares from the internet and also from the USB disks.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. adsservice.exe. is used by Aluria Active Defence Shield, If you shut down adsservice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop adsservice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Aluria Active Defence Shield, from your system.
