This type of process is a non-system process which is originated from installing software on the PC system initiated by a user. This file, aconti.exe, has a visible window when it is running. Its function is meant to dial phone numbers meant for adult content. By nature, adult content dialler is a virus and may pose a serious threat to a user’s personal computer. It automatically attempts to dial telephone numbers. It includes overseas telephone numbers so adult content sites may be downloaded and finally stored in the users’ computer. Unfortunately, attempts made by technical experts and analysts as to the origin of the software of this process is still unsuccessful. This aconti.exe file called the Adult Content Dialler is a program that can only be installed by the acconti virus which can take over a user’s modem. Once the takeover is successful, this dialler will try to dial out to have a website, specifically adult content website, installed on the user’s computer without the user realizing it.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. aconti.exe. is used by Adult Content Dialler, If you shut down aconti.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop aconti.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Adult Content Dialler, from your system.
