What is  a2adguard.exe

The a2adguard.exe process is an anti-malware which has been manufactured by Emsi Software GmbH. This is also called a-squared Anti-Dialer or a-squared Anti-Dialer guard which protects the user's computer from used dial up networks. It prevents the user from getting ripped off by paying huge phone bills and acts as a security program by giving protection against dialers. This a2adguard.exe process is an executable file which starts up when Windows is started. This can be found in the Task Manager. The usual path is C:\Program Files\a-squared Anti-Dialer\a2adguard.exe. Otherwise, the user may have installed it in some other folder. It is not a visible task and is a non-system process. The data is usually stored in the system registry with few invalid entries that may slow down the computer. Some malicious viruses may modify the a2adguard.exe file and cause errors. This may require the user to uninstall the process or file and reinstall a new one.
