The udaterui.exe process is a Common User Interface that is a component of McAfee Agent developed by McAfee. The process McAfee Agent runs in its taskbar whenever the McAfee Internet Security or McAfee Security Suite is installed with the user’s computer system. Specific functions are offered instead of full protection center program with the McAfee Agent. Notifications will be available to the taskbar after the McAfee Internet Security has been installed within the user’s computer system and will automatically load upon each reboot. This process is required to be running at the startup to enable to user to benefit from its functions or to continue the program to work properly. This EXE file is one of the two files with the responsibility for updating the user interface. It is automatically started in the startup entry from a Run, RunServices, RunServicesOnce or RunOnce entry within the registry. The udaterui.exe is safe and does not present any possible harm within the user’s computer system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. udaterui.exe. is used by Common User Interface, If you shut down udaterui.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop udaterui.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Common User Interface, from your system.
