The file Pssdnsvc.exe is a process also known as the PsShutdown Service which belongs to the Systems Internals. This process is usually located in C:\Window\System 32. This file has the size of 65,536 bytes on the Hard Drive but may vary in Different Operating System. This process is started by the use of the Control Panel and can be manipulated by other programs too. Pssdnsvc.exe is not a visible program but the user may find it running in the task manager. This process is used for scheduling the automatic shutdown of the Operating System. There is an available shutdown command from window but has some major drawbacks. In order to shut the computer down not using the shutdown command provided by the Microsoft Corporation on its Operating System, the user must download and separate utility such as Sysinternal program. The user interface of the program is the Command Line Interface (CLI). This software only run in Microsoft Windows Platforms.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. pssdnsvc.exe. is used by PsShutdown , If you shut down pssdnsvc.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop pssdnsvc.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is PsShutdown , from your system.
