The nvsvc.dll module is a type of dynamic link library (DLL) that is referred to as NVIDIA Driver Helper Service, which is the same name of the product that houses the file, and is created by NVIDIA. This file is a component to many versions of NVIDIA Driver Helper Service, including versions 97.46, 97.55, 98.15, 100.65, 101.38, 156.71, 158.16, 163.96, 169.60. The NVIDIA Driver Helper Service application is downloaded on the computer if a user updates the WDM drivers to the latest versions of NVIDIA. Disabling it cannot cause any harm on the computer at all, but can stop the NVIDIA Driver Helper Service from doing its function, which a user may need or require. Once the NVIDIA Driver Helper Service software is installed on the computer system, the nvsvc.dll file also comes with it and stored on its folder location, usually in C:\Program Files. When the program is launched, the file may be seen running in the task manager.
