The nbj.exe file is a part of the software Nero BackItUp Scheduler which is manufactured by Ahead Software AG. Nbj.exe can also be seen in the software LEARN Microsoft Word XP. The nbj.exe file runs in the computer when the Nero BackItUp Scheduler is installed in the terminal. If the user is not performing any scheduled backups, he or she can disable the EXE file. Aside from performing regular backups, nbj.exe enables the BackItUp software to burn music, videos, data and pictures to CD, DVD or Blue-ray disks. The user is required to install the new version of Microsoft .NET framework in order to run BackItUp in the background. The user is also given an option to install the Ask Toolbar upon activating BackItUp. The software provides amateur and professional computer users a way by which they can keep music, photos and data safely with so much ease. The software offers a free Gigabyte of online storage. The user has to buy a subscription if he or she needs to store voluminous data.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nbj.exe. is used by Nero BackItUp, If you shut down nbj.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nbj.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Nero BackItUp, from your system.
