The nbagent.exe module is an executable file that refers to Nero BackItUp, which is a product developed and offered by Nero AG. Nero BackItUp, which is now known as BackItUp and Burn, is a type of security software that allows a user to backup data in just a single touch of a button or a few clicks. It promises a much faster and easier way of processing a regular data backup. Other than that, this program features a user-friendly and intuitive tabbed interface, with simple controls. There is also the option to get notification of completed backups via email, and burning of media files, such as audios, videos, and photos, to CDs, DVDs, or Blue-ray discs. All these functions are going to work if the software is launched, but only if the components, including nbagent.exe, are running in the background. Therefore, the nbagent.exe file needs to remain stored on a folder location in a Windows PC, and keep running everytime the software is used or open.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. nbagent.exe. is used by Nero BackItUp, If you shut down nbagent.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop nbagent.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Nero BackItUp, from your system.
