What is lzma.exe
The lzma.exe file is an executable component process included in the program files and modules that are used by certain file compression programs. The lzma.exe process is particularly integrated into the LZMA Compression module of these supported applications that integrate LZMA compression algorithms into its set of file compression functionalities. The lzma.exe process is deployed by these compatible file compression programs as the executable dispatcher file of the LZMA Compression module, and the lzma.exe process is activated by the main application whenever the program needs to implement LZMA compression specifications into user-selected files and folders. Upon execution, the lzma.exe process calls on other associated program files and modules, in order to implement the LZMA compression algorithm into those user-selected files and folders.
How can I stop lzma.exe and should I?
Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. lzma.exe. is used by LZMA Compression Module, If you shut down lzma.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start.
