What is  java.dll

The java.dll file is installed simultaneous with the installation of the executable file for Java, for Java ™ 2 Platform, licensed under Sun Microsystems, Inc. The java.dll file enables the system to accept extensions or codes, and run these through Java applications. The executable file cannot function without the .dll file. In like manner, the .dll file cannot be installed without the executable file already in place. Problems connected with java.dll are usually because of registry errors; which in turn could be because of changes in the installed program; such as the program was recently uninstalled or a newer version was installed. Changes like this can affect registry keys, which could be the reason why error messages pop-up during startup. The most common error messages are “required java.dll file not found,” or “Java 2 Runtime Environment not found.” When these types of error messages are displayed by the system, you may not be able to access your Java applications.
