The interceptor.dll process is a Dynamic Link Library (DLL) module that is used by the SpyCatcher Express software, which is a free service offered by Tenebril to Web users for checking and protecting their Windows-based systems against possible data security risks, user privacy threats, hacker attacks and system stability problems that may be caused by spyware applications among other backdoor rootkits, Trojans and other malicious applications. The interceptor.dll file is placed in the system upon access to the Tenebril SpyCatcher Express service, and the system uses and references the program logic data stored in the interceptor.dll file whenever the system is required to carry out the operations associated with the Tenebril SpyCatcher Express service as requested by the user. The source code stored in the interceptor.dll file is implemented with program logic compilation specifications that are normally integrated into application-specific directives and modular instructions stored in the DLL file format.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. interceptor.dll. is used by Tenebril SpyCatcher Express, If you shut down interceptor.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop interceptor.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Tenebril SpyCatcher Express, from your system.
