The process hsxhwbs2.sys is system driver file that is utilized by the HSF WDM (Windows Driver Mode) driver’s firmware utilities and device driver components to begin communicating and transmitting data between the HSF Windows Driver Modem and its firmware and driver utilities via I/O request packets (IRPs) implementing the HSF WDM driver set functions. The hsxhwbs2.sys is placed into the computer system by the Conexant-powered HSF WDM modem driver set that is distributed with firmware resources and other device driver utilities that are packaged with the Conexant WDM modems as the backup system driver file to allow connection between HSF WDM modem into the system. The hsx_dp.sys is implemented to run the data connections and transmissions between the WDM device and the system as a background process system file during the HSF WDM installation or whenever the program is linked to the Windows-based computer system.
