The hphupd06.exe process is an executable file that is packaged with the other modules and program files required by the HP Photosmart software, which is an application that was created by Hewlett Packard. The hphupd06.exe process is normally found in the same program folder where the HP Photosmart software was installed in the system, and this installation folder is usually a sub directory under the Program Files directory of the system partition. The hphupd06.exe process contains source code that is used by the HP Photosmart software to perform operations that are associated with its integrated features, as requested by the user.
