The process hphmon06.exe is associated with HP Photosmart printer installer and driver. It functions as a flash memory card reader of the computer, allowing users to access data from their memory cards with ease. The file is compatible with Windows OS, and is included as an add-on to most HP printer software. The file does not utilize much CPU memory, even while it runs as a background process. The most common issue that users experienced occurred upon startup, where the system was “unable to locate component,“ because a .dll file was missing. This was found to usually happen when components of the HP software were uninstalled, or when the user is installing new HP software without first removing the previous HP software. Apart from this issue, no other major issue has been reported with regards to the hphmon06.exe file.
