The eb.exe process is an executable program file that is associated with Eurobattle.net server connection and status applications, which are Windows programs designed to allow users to connect to Eurobattle.net servers and play Warcraft III. The eb.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Warcraft III patch versions and the Eurobattle.net Warcraft III installers that are used for integrating Eurobattle.net server connectivity functionalities into Windows-based systems. Warcraft III must be installed in the Windows-based system before these Warcraft III patch versions and Eurobattle.net server connection installer distributions can be implemented into the system. The eb.exe file is distributed alongside other executable program components, certain DLL (Dynamic Link Library) modules and various background process items that are used and referenced by these Eurobattle.net applications.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. eb.exe. is used by Eurobattle GUI (Graphical User Interface) Module, If you shut down eb.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop eb.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Eurobattle GUI (Graphical User Interface) Module, from your system.
