Termed as DVAPbg MFC Application as its service name, the dvaptray.exe process is an instance of an executable or EXE file, and is a part of the software product DVAPbg Application, which is developed by Chicony Electronics Co., Ltd. When the program is installed onto the computer, the dvaptray.exe file is added to the system of a desktop PC or laptop, then stores itself on a file folder, registers into the Windows registry, and runs in the background. Once it does, dvaptray.exe must remain stored and running, so it is not advisable to terminate it, unless it is causing errors or problems that affect the performance of the system. In addition, dvaptray.exe is a Windows file, so it is installable in most versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems,including Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000, Windows NT, and Windows ME.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. dvaptray.exe. is used by DVAPbg Application, If you shut down dvaptray.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop dvaptray.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is DVAPbg Application, from your system.
