The cybermania.exe process is an executable file that has been identified by the anti-malware tools of many users as a malicious application associated with variants of the Trojan.Generic.6103916 program, which is a family of Trojans known to infect unprotected Windows-based computers with outdated or missing OS security certificates and an unsecured Windows System Registry. These users claim that the cybermania.exe malware is embedded with autorun functionalities that this Trojan is said to be capable of implementing upon its successful placement in the unprotected system, and this is said to allow the cybermania.exe malware to create and inject keys and entries into the unsecured Windows System Registry. These users also claim that these registry strings enable the cybermania.exe malware to automatically initialize each time Windows starts, and to operate as a hidden or cloacked background process during system runtime. These users reported that the cybermania.exe malware is capable of exploiting the unencrypted TCP/IP network ports that this malicious application finds in the unprotected Windows-based computer, and these exploited system vulnerabilities are then said to be used by the cybermania.exe malware to download more malicious programs unto the infected system from remote servers that are said to be managed by the authors of the cybermania.exe malware. These remote servers are also said to transmit instructions that can be performed by the cybermania.exe malware in the unprotected Windows-based computer. Other user groups claim that their system security tools flag the cybermania.exe process as a malicious application related to components and variants of the Malware-gen program, which is a family of Visual Basic scripts known to be distributed as Trojans, worms and backdoor rootkits.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cybermania.exe. is used by Trojan.Generic.6103916 and Malware-gen, If you shut down cybermania.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cybermania.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Trojan.Generic.6103916 and Malware-gen, from your system.
