The connectionservice.exe file is an EXE component process of the Sprint PCS Business Connection client software, which is a Windows program classified as a mobile network management tool that was developed to provide Sprint PCS Business Connection subscribers with a set of features for remotely and locally accessing their Windows-based client systems using their Sprint PCS mobile handsets. The Sprint PCS Business Connection client software is available in two editions, namely the Sprint PCS Business Connection Enterprise edition and the Sprint PCS Business Connection Personal edition. Both editions specifically deploy the connectionservice.exe process into the Windows-based client computer as the executable program dispatcher file of the Sprint PCS Business Connection Client Service application, which is a small program built into the Sprint PCS Business Connection client software, and this application is responsible for assisting the Sprint Business Connection client program in integrating its mobile network device monitoring and management functionalities into client computers and the connected Sprint PCS mobile phone by operating as a background process while the Sprint PCS Business Connection client software is actively running in the client system.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. connectionservice.exe. is used by Sprint PCS Business Connection Client and Sprint PCS Business Connection Client Service Application, If you shut down connectionservice.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop connectionservice.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Sprint PCS Business Connection Client and Sprint PCS Business Connection Client Service Application, from your system.
