The clntcman.exe process is an executable program file deployed into the system by the Ranger Suite software, which consists of two Windows programs, namely Ranger for Networks and Ranger Primary, and these applications are classified as network management and security tools developed with a set of features for administering network tasks, system management procedures and data security protocols across Windows-based client and server computers that are connected to the network. The clntcman.exe process is specifically implemented into Windows-based client systems for assisting in the integration of network administration procedures and data security settings into the client system through the options and functionalities available in the Ranger for Networks software. The clntcman.exe file is placed in the client system upon the installation, configuration and deployment of the Ranger for Networks software across Windows-based server and client computers of the network.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. clntcman.exe. is used by Ranger Suite (Ranger for Networks and Ranger Primary), If you shut down clntcman.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop clntcman.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Ranger Suite (Ranger for Networks and Ranger Primary), from your system.
