Many users have reported that their system security tools flag the cliprex_whenusave_installer.exe process as a malicious application associated with the AdWare.Win32.SaveNow.by program, which is a family of obtrusive adware variants known to infect unprotected Windows-based systems. Other user reports state that some anti-malware applications classify the cliprex_whenusave_installer.exe process as a variant of the Win32/WhenU.A program, which is another family of adware applications reported to be embedded with spyware functionalities. These users claim that the cliprex_whenusave_installer.exe process is capable of creating and injecting keys and entries into the Windows System Registry upon its successful placement and activation, in order for the system to allow the cliprex_whenusave_installer.exe process to implement its self-activating features during system startup. These same users also reported that the cliprex_whenusave_installer.exe process continues to operate as a hidden background process during system runtime and exploits unencrypted TCP/IP network ports and outdated Web browsers, in order to transmit Internet surfing information and private user data that the cliprex_whenusave_installer.exe process has secretly collected from the infected system and its default Web browser, to remote servers managed by its authors. These exploited TCP/IP network ports and outdated Web browsers are also said to allow the cliprex_whenusave_installer.exe process to receive data from these remote servers and display these details as pop-up advertisements while the user is browsing the Internet.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cliprex_whenusave_installer.exe. is used by AdWare.Win32.SaveNow.by and Win32/WhenU.A, If you shut down cliprex_whenusave_installer.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cliprex_whenusave_installer.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is AdWare.Win32.SaveNow.by and Win32/WhenU.A, from your system.
