The executable process file cfgdownload.exe (version 9.5.3.1140), is CfgDownload that belongs to Clients, CC, Cfg Download Module, Shared Components as developed by the Company IXOS Software AG, an open Text Company). Further to this, it is part of the software IXOS-econ Clients or IXOS-eCONtext Client. The process file is found to be running in the Task Manager as the process cfgdownload.exe, where it features a visible window and has the possibility to be removed in the control panel. Although it is not considered to be a Windows system file, the process file is found to be located in Program Files\ixos\bin folder sometimes seen at the subfolder C:\Program Files, where location differs from various Windows languages and versions. The program starts upon startup of Windows with the Registry Key: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run with a size on Windows 7/XP of 172,032 bytes at 33% of all occurrences, 443,384 bytes or 385,095 bytes. In functionality, it is able to record inputs.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. cfgdownload.exe. is used by CfgDownload, If you shut down cfgdownload.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop cfgdownload.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is CfgDownload, from your system.
