Known by the term AVG E-mail Scanner as its service name, the process avgemca.exe is an executable component of the software product branded or called as AVG Internet Security, which is created and offered by AVG Technologies CZ, s.r.o. The AVG E-mail Scanner application is basically a part of the Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware protection suite software, with full AVG LinkScanner safe search and surf technology, which is purposely designed to offer security against computer threats, such as viruses, worms and spyware, and even online dangers. The avgemca.exe file is specifically used for protecting email of the computer user by scanning the inbox, i.e. attached files and messages, and removing any malicious files and data that can harm or infect email. The avgemca.exe process works efficiently through the smart scanning technology of AVG, which is also included within the antivirus program.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. avgemca.exe. is used by AVG Internet Security, If you shut down avgemca.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop avgemca.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is AVG Internet Security, from your system.
