Battery Optimizer will scan your laptop and determine how to get more life from your laptop battery. Battery Optimizer will then provide recommended actions to perform, along with the estimated time-savings and other battery management features.

In order to install Battery Optimizer, you can follow the below steps:

1. Click here to download Battery Optimizer.
2. When the download prompt appears, please choose to Save “BatteryOptimizerSetup.exe” on your computer.
3. Once the download is complete, choose Run or double-click the “BatteryOptimizerSetup.exe” file on your computer to start the installation process.
4. Follow the onscreen instructions to complete the installation process.
5. Once the installation is complete, Battery Optimizer will automatically appear on your computer and enable to you perform a diagnosis.

Now, you can follow the below steps to diagnose your laptop's battery life:

1. Double-click the Battery Optimizer icon on your desktop to open the program. On the home screen of Battery Optimizer, click on the ‘Run Diagnostic’ button to get started.
2. You will see a screen specifying the details of the scan and offering two separate scanning options, namely ‘Express Scanning Mode” and “Comprehensive Scanning Mode”. The Express mode is faster, as this will test the specified devices once. The comprehensive mode will take longer, as this will test the specified devices three times, to return more accurate results.
3. Unplug your laptop from the power source, select the preferred scanning mode and click on the “Begin Diagnostic” button to start the scanning process.
4. After the scanning process is complete, you will be presented with the following results:
   Current Battery Charge, Battery Health, Time Left at Current Charge, Potential Battery Life with Maximum Optimizations and Potential Gain in Battery Life with Maximum Optimizations.
5. Then Click on Optimize Battery Life and its done.
