Hello Gregory;
Thank you for contacting us, sorry to hear you are facing that problem.

It seems that your computer is infected with malicious root kit, you will need to scan your PC a Malware detection app, delete the malware, restart your computer, then you shouldn't have this problem again.

If you still have the problem, please don't hesitate to get back to us.

Thank you!
Basel

Hi Gregory,

You need to check your hard drive for errors. You can solve this problem and improve the performance of your computer by making sure that your hard disk has no errors.
  1. Click to open computer. Right-click the hard disk that you want to check, and then click Properties.
  2. Click the Tools tab, and, under Error-checking, click Check now
  3. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.
  4. To automatically repair problems with files and folders that the scan detects, select Automatically fix file system errors. Otherwise, the disk check will report problems but not fix them.
  5. To perform a thorough disk check, select Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors. This scan attempts to find and repair physical errors on the hard disk itself, and it can take much longer to complete.
  6. To check for both file errors and physical errors, select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors.
  7. Click Start. Depending on the size of your hard disk, this might take several minutes.
This should work for you and this error message should not pop up again.

Regards,
Lokesh

I kept getting the blue screen with Driver Power State Failure error message and then my computer would restart. I found your product and it did not happen any more. I just purchased an anti-virus (kaspersky) and now it is doing it again. It is so frustrating. My computer is only 6 months old. It is a Asus desktop.
