Tencent QQ is an adware that misleads the users by presenting itself as an instant message service. Instead of providing the functions that it suggests, Tencent QQ gets installed as a browser extension and generates a great amount of advertisement.

To uninstall Tencent QQ remove it from Control Panel, then delete all files and regkeys.

Step 1: Remove Tencent QQ from Control Panel
Just follow the below steps to uninstall from Control panel:

1. Click Start.
2. Then Control Panel.
3. Click Uninstall a Program.
4. Find Tencent QQ and click Uninstall

After that remove Tencent QQ from your browser.

Step 2: Remove Tencent QQ from browsers

Google Chrome:

1. Open Google Chrome
2. Push Alt + F.
3. Click Tools.
4. Choose Extensions.
5. Find Tencent QQ.
6. Click the trash can icon to remove it.

Mozilla Firefox:

1. Open Firefox.
2. Push Shift + Ctrl + A.
3. Choose Tencent QQ.
4. Click Disable or Remove button.

Internet Explorer:

1. Open IE.
2. Push Alt + T.
3. Click Manage Add-ons.
4. Select Toolbars and Extensions.
5. Click Disable Tencent QQ.
6. Click More information link in the left-bottom corner.
7. Click Remove button.

Step 3: Remove following files and folders of Tencent QQ:

Remove following files:

• TencentQQ.dll
• TAOFrame.exe
• QQGwp.exe
• tencentdl.exe

Remove following folders

• C:\Users\Username\AppData\Local\Tencent\
• C:\Users\Username\AppData\Roaming\Tencent\
• C:\Program Files\Tencent\QQPhoneManager\
• C:\Program Files\Common Files\Tencent\QQPcMgr\
• C:\ProgramData\Tencent\
