Hi Kamil,

This issue could be due to system files corruption, I would suggest you to try performing automatic repair using Windows 8 disc from Windows Recovery Environment (WinRE) and check if it helps.

To perform Automatic repair on Windows 8 computer follow these steps:
a.Insert the media such as (USB or DVD) and restart your computer.
b.Press F12 key (typically this is F12, but it can differ between computer manufacturers) and choose the drive that you inserted the installation media into.
c.Once the Windows Setup window appears, follow these steps:
d.Click next and select Repair your computer.
e.You will then see a blue screen and an option to choose. Choose the option Troubleshoot and select advanced options.
f.You may choose Automatic Repair from Advanced boot option.

Regards,
Lokesh

Hi Kamil, Please provide more details, such as the things you did or the changes you made to your Windows 8 system right before you got this error. Basically, you encountered a BSOD (Blue Screen of Death) error... Unlike previous Windows versions -- Windows 8 no longer displays a Blue Screen of Death error... Instead, Windows 8 displays a sad face with the "Your PC ran into a problem it couldn’t handle, and now it needs to restart", along with a note that says you can search online for the most suitable solution... The cause of most BSOD errors may be identified by looking back at the set of things or changes that you made to your Windows 8 system right before you got the BSOD error... This is so we can isolate possible causes like hardware incompatibility issues, corrupted application installs, outdated drivers and so on. This will in turn help us accurately identify possible solutions for the specific issues that your PC is encountering...

Hi Kamil, If you recall making changes to your computer or installing specific updates, I would recommend restarting your PC in the Windows Safe Mode and undoing these changes. You can use the Windows System Restore tool to undo or restore these recent changes. Try this first and let us know if it helps. The next step would be to run the System File Checker using your Windows Disc. Good luck, James

I kept getting the blue screen with Driver Power State Failure error message and then my computer would restart. I found your product and it did not happen any more. I just purchased an anti-virus (kaspersky) and now it is doing it again. It is so frustrating. My computer is only 6 months old. It is a Asus desktop.
