Hi Randy,

This is because of a general slowdown in graphics, and is a common occurrence for any gamer. Basically, your system just can't produce enough Frames Per Second (FPS) to make everything feel nice and smooth.
Anytime graphics lag happens, you'll typically get a reduction in the responsiveness of your controls. Your actions take a fraction longer to be reflected in the graphics on-screen because it takes your system a bit more time to create each new frame of graphics and send it to your monitor.

Solution:

Get scientific and use the free FRAPS utility to measure your actual framerate.
Launch FRAPS before starting up your game, and look at the FPS figure it provides when you're in the game. Any time that little yellow counter drops below around 25-30 FPS or so, especially in fast-paced games, you're going to feel some amount of graphics lag. If it drops below around 15-20 FPS then you'll really feel it.

If you're getting serious framerate dips, then there are only two solutions.
The first is to customize your game's graphics settings and optimize Windows so that you consistently get higher FPS.

The easiest way to update your drivers and optimize your games is by using GEForce.
You can download it from the below link:

You can try the below troubleshooting steps which will solve your problem.
  1. Uninstall the graphics card driver from Device Manager. a) Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clickingSystem and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.
    b) In Device Manager, locate the display adapter and then double-click the device name.
    c) Click the Driver tab, and then click uninstall Driver (including the driver software) and follow the instructions.
  2. Do the same in Programs and Features look for anything related to NVIDIA and uninstall it as well.
  3. Download and install the graphics card driver from NVIDIA support site
  4. Here's the link for download: nvidia.com/download/index.aspx
  5. Reboot the machine (PC or lalptop) once driver has been installed.
  6. After the reboot make sure that your games are set to use NVIDIA graphics card.
  7. Open NVIDIA Control Panel and select Manage 3D settings.
  8. Under 3D settings click on the Program Settings tab then select the program you wanto to choose a graphics card from the drop down list. In your case your games.
  9. Lastly, Select the "preferred graphics processor" to High-performance NVIDIA processor.
You can also try the below fixes:

  • Check for known issues and updates for the game. Most software problems are not unique, and when you encounter one, it's likely that other people are having the same problem. Frequently, game publishers will issue updates that contain fixes to known problems. To learn more about known issues and get updates for games and devices, visit the game publisher's or device manufacturer's website.
  • Update Microsoft DirectX which is a suite of multimedia technologies that helps create the special visual and audio effects that come with games. Many games rely on DirectX to help get more performance from your computer. Make sure that you have the latest version of DirectX so that you can take advantage of all of the latest features.
  • Adjust your game's settings. Most games have settings that allow you to control the resolution and level of detail that's displayed, as well as the quality of the audio.
  • Disable your joystick. If you are using a joystick, make sure it's not the source of the problem. To do so, shut down your computer, unplug the joystick, restart the computer, and then test the game using your keyboard. If the issue doesn't appear when you're using your keyboard, contact the joystick manufacturer to troubleshoot the problem.
I hope this helps in making the games apps run normally.

Regards,
Lokesh
