Hi Kevin,
Go to the Start Search box, type in Regedit. Scroll to : HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsNT\CurrentVersion\ProfileList If you click on the SID (Security Identifier) in the left pane, on the right pane, go to Profile Image Path and it will show you the name of the user. Example: ProfileImagePath - C:\Users\Administrator. If you can match the SID, then you can delete that user. Don't delete if you are not confident of deleting the correct user account. Be sure to make a backup of your registry or a system restore point before making any changes in the registry. I hope this helps. Thanks! Lokesh Comments Commented by

Your comment is very logical, and that's why I did it, it lets me delete that user, but when I go back to open properties it reappears.

I was at my place (I do not know from when):
- account unknown (s-1-5-21-329068152-2000478354-839522115-1003) - account unknown (s-1-5-21-742219865-2982450446-2180859989-1005) They have all but special rights. They are not in the Users in Computer Management nor in the registry. Can not be deleted in Security> Edit "because this object spans permissions after its parent object, in order to delete it should disable rights inheritance" - account unknown (s-1-5-21-742219865-2982450446-2180859989-1006) Has the following permissions: Read and execute; Reading However, they were not in the properties on partitions. I thought maybe they are in some superior directory. And it was like that. I opened in turn: > Properties > Advanced > Owner and here was the account unknown (s-1-5-21-329068152-2000478354-839522115-1003) > Edit I clicked on my account I selected: Replace the owner for subfolders and objects > OK Then in security > Edit I marked account unknown (s-1-5-21-329068152-2000478354-839522115-1003) > Delete and the same with the next ones And now, for some time, he made changes. Then unnecessary accounts were gone. I do not know if the first act of transferring rights was significant. I did not move the other two and it was also possible to remove them. Probably because you can delete only in the folder (directory) from which they go into subfolders. greetings |
