Hi Carl,

Yo can easily remove the viruses from your system by following the below mentioned methods:

Method 1. Reboot in safe mode
Most viruses become disabled in Safe Mode, which is a protected mode of Windows that’s missing a lot of extraneous features.
Windows Safe Mode With Networking will give you the opportunity to download and install a few antivirus applications, so you’re sure to squash any issues your PC has.
  1. To reboot into Safe Mode with Networking, Click the Start Button, then Restart.
  2. As your PC starts up, tap on the F8 key.
  3. If the Windows logo appears, you didn’t press it early enough, and you’ll have to start over.
  4. Click Advanced Boot Options, then Windows Safe Mode With Networking.
Method 2. Install antivirus software
If you already had an antivirus program active on your computer, you should use a different scanner for this malware check, since your current antivirus software may have not detected the malware.

If you think your PC is infected, I recommend using an on-demand scanner first and then following up with a full scan by your real-time antivirus program. Among the free (and high-quality) on-demand scanners available are:
Depending on your computer, the quick scan can take anywhere from 5 to 20 minutes, whereas the full scan might take 30 to 60 minutes or more.

Method 3. Run the applications individually
Run Microsoft Security Essentials and have it do a complete scan, then close it down and do the same with Malwarebytes.
You don’t generally want two antivirus apps scanning at the same time or even open at the same time, as they’ll interfere with each other.
One or the other application should nab the virus or viruses on your PC. You may be asked to reboot so the application can finish cleaning your PC.

Method 4: Install Security Reviver
Security Reviver will scan your PC and identify security threats and vulnerabilities. Security Reviver can quickly and safely remove these threats and prevent them from reoccurring.
You can visit the product Security Reviver at below link for more details.

I hope this helps.

You can try the Reviver soft tool. It does work rather well. You can try installing the free version to see if it detects the problems that you are having.

If it doesn't detect the problems (Not likely), you may want to try some others. I am personally partial to panda cloud.

Hi Carl,

Are you getting a notification from somewhere saying that your registry has been infected with 500 viruses?  If yes could you possibly provide a screenshot of that error?  I will make some additional suggestions after seeing exactly what is going on.

I kept getting the blue screen with Driver Power State Failure error message and then my computer would restart. I found your product and it did not happen any more. I just purchased an anti-virus (kaspersky) and now it is doing it again. It is so frustrating. My computer is only 6 months old. It is a Asus desktop.
