What is  wow.exe

Wow.exe is the executable file for World of Warcraft, a multiplayer online role-playing game or MMORPG owned and developed by Blizzard Entertainment. World of Warcraft players control character avatars in the game world via first- or third- person view and function, exploring the landscape, completing quests, fighting various monsters, and interacting with the non-player characters or their co-players. It requires players to pay for subscription by buying the prepaid game cards and selecting the playing time limit, or by using credit or debit cards to pay subscription on a regular basis. In entering the game, the player selects a realm or called server. A realm acts as the individual in the game world, falling into one of the four categories, such as the Normal (player versus the environment or PVE realm in which the gameplay focuses on completing quests and defeating monsters, and the roleplay is optional), the Player-Versus-Player or PvP (where combat fights are consensual and is the norm in addition to completing quests and defeating monsters), the RP or RolePlay (a variant of PvE in which the players play character roles), and the RP-PvP or RolePlay Player-Versus-Player (where the players play characters while assuming cross-faction combat).
