This winrar.exe file or commonly known as WinRAR, is a kind of solid compression utility. It is an easy to use, flexible and lightweight and helps the user in improving the compression and decompression speed of the computer through its optimized RAR general compression algorithm that utilizes several processor cores. The file is categorized under file compression and works in various operating systems such as Windows 7, Windows 2003, Windows Vista, Windows XP, Windows Server 2008. It has a file size of 1.45 MB. This process is a useful tool in managing archives. The winrar.exe file enables the user to back up his or her data and reduces the size of email attachments. The application also decompresses RAR, ZIP and other files that has been downloaded from the Internet. It will then create new set of archives in RAR and ZIP file format. The file winrar.exe also has an unpacking support for a large number of archive formats such as ACE, ZIP, ISO, BZ2 and JAR. WinRAR also features the Unicode support for international formatting.
