The unlockerhook.dll process is a Dynamic Link Library file included with other modular DLL resources, certain EXE program files, some SYS driver files and associated components that are required by the Unlocker software, which is a Windows program classified as a system utility management tool that is integrated with a set of features for unlocking, moving, deleting or renaming locked files and folders in the system. The unlockerhook.dll module is implemented into the installer distribution packages of the Unlocker software, which also means the unlockerhook.dll file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Unlocker application. The unlockerhook.dll process is usually stored in the same application folder where the Unlocker software and its components were placed during the installation process, which is normally a sub directory under the Program Files directory of the system partition. In some instances, the unlockerhook.dll file may be installed in the "drivers" folder, which is found in the System32 sub directory under the Windows directory of the system partition.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. unlockerhook.dll. is used by Unlocker, If you shut down unlockerhook.dll, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop unlockerhook.dll, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Unlocker, from your system.
