The uedit32.exe file is an executable application resource process included with other EXE program files, some SYS driver items, certain modular DLL (Dynamic Link Library) files, specific background process items and various associated components that are used by the UltraEdit-32 software. This application is a Windows program classified as a text editor developed by IDM Computer Solutions with a set of features for writing and editing source code and program logic data stored in EXE files among other supported formats like PHP, HTML, JS and so on. The uedit32.exe process is also used by the UltraEdit software, which is another version of this program. The uedit32.exe process is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher file of the UltraEdit-32 software, which means users can activate the uedit32.exe file in order to load this program unto the system. The uedit32.exe process is integrated into the installer distribution packages of the UltraEdit-32 and UltraEdit applications.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. uedit32.exe. is used by UltraEdit-32 and UltraEdit, If you shut down uedit32.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop uedit32.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is UltraEdit-32 and UltraEdit, from your system.
