The file tvttcsd.exe is a process associated with IBM ThinkVantage Scheduler also known as TSS Core developed by IBM. It runs as a background Windows service called 'TSSCoreService' as the SYSTEM account with extensive privileges on the local computer. It runs with Microsoft Windows XP (5.1.2600.196608) operating system with a command system of C:\program files\IBM ThinkVantage\client security solution\ibmtcsd.exe. This file is part of Client Security Solution, a suite of security tools that protect the user's netbook from any unauthorized use. This file contains a usual file size of 723,712 bytes. It controls access to the user's ThinPad through fingerprint and password verification by encrypting the user's personal information through storing in a password protected private volumes. If you do not need this file on your computer system, you can delete it or uninstall in from the control panel. Make sure to back up any important files stored in your Client Security Solution private volumes before deleting them.
