What is  tsvncache.exe

The file tsvncache.exe is also known as TortoiseSVN status cache owned by the TortoiseSVN. The file tsvncache.exe can be found in the C:\Program file with a file size of 397, 312 bytes on Windows 7 or Windows XP. This application is used by clients in maintaining a cache of their working copy status, and in providing much faster access to the information. The tsvncache.exe file has its own available window but a registry setting is needed. The user may create a registry key [HKCU\Software\TorotiseSVN\CacheTrayIcon] as the DWORD value. The file is an essential file of your computer system if you are using a subversion and Tortoise. It enables the icon overlay in Windows Explorer in checking out the files of folders from a Subversion repository. The user may have the option of removing the tsvncache.exe application by just turning off the caching in the TrotoiseSVN settings by setting it to “none”. The tsvncache.exe file can be found in the C:\Program files sub folder. Its files size may vary depending on the operating system being used. This is not a Windows core file and uninstalling this program can be done using the add/remove programs which is located in the Control Panel. If the user is having trouble with the tsvncache.exe file, he or she may get some help from the software vendor TortoiseSVN.
