The trillian.exe file is an EXE application resource process distributed with other executable program files, certain SYS driver files, some modular DLL files, particular background process items and various associated component resources that are needed by the Trillian software. This application is a Windows program classified as an Instant Messaging (IM) application, and this software was developed by Cerulean Studios with a set of features that can allow users to text and voice chat with their family and friends, participate in video conference sessions with their contacts, and share files with their colleagues and peers. The trillian.exe process is specifically deployed as the executable program dispatcher file of the Trillian software, which means users can execute the trillian.exe file in order to load the Trillian software and its multi-network IM (Instant Messaging) functionalities unto the system. The trillian.exe file is placed in the system upon the installation of the Trillian software, which also means the trillian.exe process is integrated into the installer distribution packages of this IM program.

Most non-system processes that are running can be stopped because they are not involved in running your operating system. trillian.exe. is used by Cerulean Studios Trillian, If you shut down trillian.exe, it will likely start again at a later time either after you restart your computer or after an application start. To stop trillian.exe, permanently you need to uninstall the application that runs this process which in this case is Cerulean Studios Trillian, from your system.
